Save the Date!
Mark your calendars for August 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM - the street will be closed, the food will be hot, and the whole neighborhood will be out! You can expect the Shaker Heights Fire Department to have a hook and ladder truck out for kids to take a tour, family friendly games, potluck-style grilled foods, sides, and desserts, and more.
- 10:00AM - Street closed to limited traffic from Southington Rd to Onaway Rd
- 2:00PM - Setup tables, tents, chairs, grill, yard games for cooking out/potluck fun mid-block
- 3:00PM - Block party time! Bring food/plates/cups/utensils for setting up the potluck
- 5:00PM - Burgers and hot dogs ready and served up hot!
- Fire Engine - Timing TBD - afternoon/evening sometime
